As an independent project consultant based in the far western suburbs of Chicago, I have the opportunity to work with homeowners on renovation projects in other parts of the country. I’m currently working with homeowners on a renovation in Lexington, Kentucky, and we were so fortunate to discover Luxwood Cabinetry. This project involved moving a load-bearing wall and expanding the kitchen into the dining room while still maintaining a comfortable dining space. Arlan did a fabulous job interpreting the Design concept and bringing it to life. He was wonderful to work with and the finished cabinetry is absolutely beautiful. It’s always rewarding to find talented professionals to understand the vision and make the process easier for both the homeowner and the consultant. Luxwood team did a fantastic job in 2025 for our new home.  Cabinetry included kitchen cabinets and island, pantry shelving, two large vanities, linen closets, laundry room cabinets with pullout trays under the washer and dryer, and a built-in closet and storage center.  All cabinetry was designed by Luxwood.  We liked their work so much we also purchased a large desk and library again designed by Luxwood. We’ve had a great experience working with Luxwood Interiors. Their team is always professional, on schedule, and extremely accurate with their installs. Job sites are left clean, communication is solid, and the finished product consistently meets expectations. A dependable cabinet partner we’re confident bringing into our projects. Never would I of imagined carpentry to be so beautiful in our new home until we saw the finished product of our kitchen and bathrooms. Amazing attention to detail! Arlan, the owner, definitely knows his stuff! Returned my phone calls without me leaving a message! Adds helpful tips when you're undecided on certain options. Very relaxed person with absolutely no high pressure sales techniques. I highly recommend Luxwood. I've had him build different items for me over the years and never disappointed. I had a fantastic experience working with LuxWood.  They were easy to communicate with and offered great advice and insights on my kitchen layout. Very reasonably priced for such high quality cabinets. Everything was made and delivered perfectly and the installation went very smooth. Arlan was great to work with and installers really went above and beyond. Wouldn't even consider other options if we needed more work done.
